Dr. Cifuentes graduated from University of San Carlos in 1990. She then specialized in Arthroscopic Surgery at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California. Dr. Cifuentes is now a respected faculty member at the Medical School of the University of San Carlos. She is a member of the Guatemalan Orthopaedic Association as well as the International Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Cifuentes is a highly recommended physician from various Spanish Schools in Quetzaltenango. |

Published WorksDr. Cifuentes was the first recipient of the Orthroscopic Association of North America's renowned Traveling Fellowship. During this time, she published "Experience of my Traveling Fellowship" in The Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery, an official publication of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. DirectionsWe are conveniently located just 1 block from Paiz Mont Blanc. From Parque Central, walk to the corner of 5a Calle and 14 Avenida. From there, take a microbus to Paiz Mont Blanc. Once at Paiz Mont Blanc, walk north up 18th Avenida (towards the Chinese restaurant Shilon), and take your first right into the parking lot of Cafe Astoria. The office is located in behind the cafe. There is a large sign indicating the location of our office. If you have problems, please don't hesitate to call. |
